What’s Happening at the library?
CALLING ALL BOOKSTORE VOLUNTEERS!!
Hello Casa De Oro Friends of the Library members!
I’m David Bright, the new bookstore manager and I have a special message for you.
The Friends of the Casa De Oro Library is holding a meeting for all those interested in being a bookstore volunteer. The new Casa branch opening is right around the corner, and we want to meet up, get acquainted, and give you some basic information.
THE BOOKSTORE IS A GREAT WAY TO CONNECT TO YOUR LIBRARY, CONNECT TO YOUR COMMUNITY, AND CONNECT WITH OTHER BOOKLOVERS!
We are giving volunteers two choices for the meeting. You only have to attend one.
March 10-Tuesday-5:00 at the Casa De Oro Library Community room
March 12-Thursday- 12:00 at the Casa De Oro Library Community room.
Cindy Schmidtt (asst. manager) and I would like to give you a general idea about beginning the volunteer process, and the types of things you might be doing.
We will keep you informed of any important news, updates, and upcoming volunteer events.
All of us are very excited about the new library and the great people who will be staffing the bookstore.
THIS HAS BEEN A LONG TIME COMING AND NOW IT IS GETTING CLOSE! WE CAN’T DO IT WITHOUT YOU!!
Let me know if you can attend. We are looking forward to meeting you.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Please R.S.V.P. me at dvbright@cox.net or call me at (619) 660-1530.

“At the moment that we persuade a child, any child, to cross that threshold, that magic threshold into a library, we change their lives forever, for the better. It's an enormous force for good." President Barack Obama
